This is a great article on the importance of business continuity plans and some of the scenario’s companies should be planning for in these difficult and challenging times we are currently in and probably will be in for at least the next 3-6 months before we start to understand what the “NEW NORMAL” is… In South Africa we are starting to see Hospitals, Pharmacies, Food Retail Outlets and Food Factories closing due to staff testing positive for Covid-19. It is critical these essential service providers are able to remain open and function for the country and its people to survive this crisis… Businesses need to ensure their staff have the necessary protective wear and all possible steps are taken to keep them safe and healthy… The South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa has shown great leadership in his quick and decisive action to lock-down the country, but it is up to each citizen, business leaders and employee to help ensure it is effective and we are able to survive this crisis… Stay Safe… Be Prepared… Play Your Part.
